Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the FARID AUTOS application handles information when you browse the automotive catalogue, use favourites or the cart, complete the order-details form, review request history, or use Contact Us. FARID AUTOS is the legal identity responsible for this application.
Information used by the application
The order-details form uses the following information:
Required fields
- Full name — used to identify the completed order-detail record.
- Phone number — used as contact information within the completed record.
- City — used to record the customer's city.
- Delivery/customer address — used to record the address associated with the completed order details.
- Selected products and quantities — derived from the cart and used to prepare the order summary.
- Total amount — calculated from the selected products, quantities and displayed market-reference prices.
- Selected non-card payment preference — either Cash on Delivery or Pay at Business.
Optional fields
- Email address — included in the completed record only when the user enters it.
- Notes — included only when the user enters additional instructions or information.
The application also stores favourites and cart contents so those features can continue to work between app sessions.
Storage and transmission
Favourites, cart contents and completed order-detail records are stored in application-local preferences on the user's device. Completed records can contain the required and optional fields listed above together with the product summary, total amount, selected non-card payment preference and completion time.
The application does not use a backend server, cloud database, Firebase, authentication service or remote order-processing API for these records. Completing the order-details form does not transmit the form to FARID AUTOS, a developer, a restaurant, a service provider or an external server. The application therefore does not represent a locally completed record as externally received or accepted.
Retention
Cart and favourite information remains on the device until the user changes or removes it, clears the application's stored data, or uninstalls the application. Completed request records remain until the user deletes individual records from Request history, clears application storage, or uninstalls the application. The local implementation retains up to the most recent 25 completed records; older records may be discarded as newer records are added.
Deletion
Individual completed records can be deleted from Request history. Cart items can be removed by reducing their quantity to zero, and favourites can be removed by toggling the favourite action. Clearing the application's stored data or uninstalling the application removes the locally retained preferences and records.
Internet and third-party image loading
The application requests Internet access to load catalogue product images, category images and garage imagery from public image URLs. When an image is requested, the external image host may receive ordinary network information such as the device's IP address and request metadata as part of providing that image. The application does not use that image-loading activity for advertising or analytics.
Contact Us and external email applications
The Contact Us screen can open an email application installed on the device when the user chooses the email action. FARID AUTOS does not directly send that email from inside the application. Any information the user enters into the external email application is handled by that email application and its service provider. The transactional order-details form is separate from Contact Us and is not submitted through email.
Payments
The application does not include a payment gateway and does not collect or store full card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials or raw payment credentials. It can record only the selected non-card payment preference shown in the app, such as Cash on Delivery or Pay at Business.
Permissions and features not used
The application does not request location, camera, microphone or media-library access. It does not use user accounts, authentication, Firebase, analytics, advertising SDKs or push-notification functionality.
Data sharing
Locally retained order-detail records, cart contents and favourites are not transmitted by the application to FARID AUTOS or an external server. Network requests are made only as needed to retrieve the catalogue and garage images described above.
Security
The application uses Android's app-local storage for the local preferences described in this policy. No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in optional notes.
Children's privacy
FARID AUTOS is an automotive catalogue and order-detail application and is not designed specifically for children. The application does not knowingly provide child-focused account or profile features.
User choices
Users can choose whether to add products to favourites or the cart, whether to provide the optional email address or notes, which non-card payment preference to select, and whether to open the external email application from Contact Us. Locally retained records can be removed using the methods described above.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's implemented features or data-handling practices change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy becomes applicable.
